HOUSE RULES & TERMS
LACUNA upholds the highest standards for event rentals, following all City, County, and State health mandates. Adherence to the rules below ensures smooth operations. For inquiries, please contact us.

Bathrooms
Bathrooms are shared by guests and staff and must be treated with respect.
A bathroom attendant is required for events with 50+ attendees.
Notify the Site Representative if bathroom supplies are low or need attention.

Cleaning Duties
Clients, planners, and/or caterers must perform basic cleaning duties, including cleaning kitchen areas, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and sweeping floors.
Professional cleaning is included in billing. Failure to empty the fryer incurs a $150 fee.

Event Space
Only authorized personnel may access event spaces during the rental period.
Clients are responsible for the conduct of all hired personnel.

Doors/Interiors
The front door is for light supplies only; all other deliveries must use the rear.
The front door must remain closed unless staffed by security.
Clients will be billed for damages to walls or floors. Heavy equipment requires prior approval.

Food & Drink
Red wine, dark, sticky, or energy drinks are prohibited.
Warm food must minimize odors. Outside vendors and menus require approval.

Hygiene
All staff must follow Los Angeles County health rules, hold valid ServSafe certifications, and comply with COVID-19 protocols.

Kitchen
Cooking or using hot equipment is prohibited unless specified in the contract. The kitchen is for food and beverage display only.

Load-In/Strike
No noisy or disruptive behaviors during deliveries.
Load-in/strike hours: 7:00 AM–12:00 AM (exceptions require prior agreement).
Use rear doors only. Delivery paths must be clean and protected.

Parking/Deliveries
No alley parking except for pre-arranged short-term drop-offs.
Observe street parking signage and avoid stopping on Jefferson Blvd.
Event staff must park away from LACUNA; clients must arrange event parking.

Rental Inventory
Outside vendor equipment must be picked up by the next day or removed by 12:00 AM. Additional site representative time will be billed.

Waste Removal
Use designated waste bins and recycle properly. Excess trash removal incurs a $200 fee. Overflowing trash will result in penalties.

Venue Manager
A venue manager is required for all events.

GREEN ROOMS - Our headlining artists might never want to leave our Performer’s Lounge which is outfitted with tons of comfortable seating, a dry bar, & an entertainment center wired up to watch DirecTV, your favorite streaming service, or a live feed from our stage. The lounge has direct access to stage, a private restroom with a shower, & an outdoor patio area.


ENTRANCE PATIO & LOBBY - Located on Vermont Avenue, the theater’s main entrance features a retro styled marquee that will capture the attention of everyone that passes by. Once inside our doors, you can enjoy food on our open-air patio while you await the performers to hit the stage. Carondelet House is a distinctive venue located in the heart of Los Angeles, housed in a meticulously restored 1928 Italian-inspired brick building. With 7,600 square feet of event space, it is designed to host a wide range of occasions, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.

The venue can accommodate up to 150 guests for seated events and 220 for standing receptions, providing a versatile layout for both intimate and larger-scale gatherings. The floor plan includes two outdoor courtyards, offering tranquil settings for ceremonies or cocktail hours.

7000 Square Foot Historic Home

Bronson Ave Property offers four exquisitely furnished guest apartments designed by Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors in 2013. The spacious suites offer 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 baths and range from 1,125-2,350 square feet. Each guest suite offers a well-appointed gourmet kitchen with everything you need to dine-in. Period architectural details include hardwood floors, bay windows, beautiful woodwork and many original light fixtures. The estate suites can accommodate large groups yet allow total privacy for a relaxing stay.

Our 9 bedroom and 11 bathroom oasis is the perfect weekend getaway location for the best family trip, bachelor or bachelorette weekend and of course making your wedding weekend that much more special and filled ease. Our weekend buyout offers so much flexibility for any type of vacation stay or event booking. The private suites the four private suites, each have sleeping accommodations for up to six people or more, homestyle kitchens, smart TVs, lush bedding and more.

The lush garden feel, perfect with artificial grass so there’s never a green stain but always open for the best cocktail. 

COURTYARD

The tree you see in the middle of our courtyard, grown so high that it has seen every wonderful moment shared for all of our events. This allowing access is the best space for a 200-250 sit down dinner or food truck galore. 

BARN

The charm of our barn is a vision and meant to be designed and styled to each and every one of our clients dreams. The best fit for a dinner for up to 160 guests or dancing till 1am until your feet can’t dance anymore. The moment those doors open is the moment that guests will remember for a lifetime.

We have our base minimum packages, like our 6, 9 and 12 our packages but we can customize anything in between as well. Please note that Bronson Ave Property has a 9 hour minimum for weekend rentals from Friday—Sunday. All set up and tear down hours must be included when selecting your hourly rental package.

This 115 year old building is filled with beautiful natural light and an abundance of unique angles and textures. It features original brickwork, vaulted 45 foot ceilings, concrete floor, expansive skylights, a wood mezzanine level, and so much more. This historic LA substation will transport you to another time and place. The space blends industrial, loft-like character with elegant qualities in features like arched windows and doorways, making it incredibly versatile for photo shoots, editorial, print ads, film shoots, ecommerce, music videos, fitness videos, fashion shows, interviews, documentaries, and more.

The bi-level creative space has been transformed into a manufacturing plant, a welding shop, a wedding venue, a cabaret, a stand-up venue, a CIA office, a metal bar, a farm-to-table cafe, a courthouse, a fire station, and much more.

House power available for photo shoots utilizing strobe lights. Photo shoots and events utilizing Tungsten or HMI lighting are asked to supply their own generator or pay an additional charge for house power.
