Tribeca Rooftop

Sitting atop Fifth Avenue, 620 Loft & Garden is a hidden gem offering dramatic cityscapes, overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. The space features a historic manicured garden, reflective pool and newly renovated interior loft. Events are welcomed year-round as a portion of the rooftop garden is tented. The space highlights one-of-a-kind views from the Prometheus statue and Radio City Marquee to the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and Saks light show during the holiday season.

620 Loft & Garden

The Greenpoint Loft is an exquisite multipurpose space located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Originally a pre-WWII era warehouse, this filming location has been restored to its original raw appearance; exposed high beam ceilings, wooden floors, and open window skylights. The Greenpoint Loft facility includes the main loft space, mezzanine level and a rooftop that boasts a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline overlooking the East River. The immense open floor allows for the most control over the design of your shoot and as such the Greenpoint Loft gives off a timeless Brooklyn vibe from the moment you set foot in the door.

CATERING FROM MARLOW EVENTS
 They offer full-service catering from the Marlow Collective, the Brooklyn hospitality group that includes the restaurants Diner, Marlow & Sons, Roman's, and Achilles Heel, the butcher shop Marlow & Daughters, bread bakery She Wolf Bakery, and natural wine & spirits shop Stranger Wines.
    Marlow sources seasonally, locally, and organically, creating truly unique and lasting partnerships with local farmers to produce unforgettable food and experiences that highlight these connections and quality ingredients.  Their beverage program includes a rotating selection of all-natural and minimally processed wines and specialty cocktails to complement the season.

Adelphi Street Loft

Featuring its original brick walls, towering wooden doors, and high ceilings, this renovated, former metal factory is a versatile filming location. With over 8,000 square feet of space to shoot in, and a large, open floor plan, this production space is perfect for both film and photography. The renovations to the building highlight its industrial past, a past emphasized by its location in DUMBO, Brooklyn, accentuating the original brick walls, large wooden doors and magnificent high ceiling with long stretches of skylight. The renovations make this space easy to use for both historical and modern applications, and its location in DUMBO make it convenient to travel to. Along with the main space, it also included a kitchen, private bathroom, and 2 green rooms as well as a loading dock to make loading and unloading equipment easier.

Bridge Street Factory

Located in a luxurious commercial real estate building, this mid-century modern lounge opens onto a terrace overlooking the bright lights of Midtown, NYC. It’s the perfect space to gather with friends, family or colleagues for a cocktail style gathering, host a panel, intimate dinner party indoors or late-night dance party.

Ivy Terrace

The 70th Floor of 3 World Trade Center is an ultra-high event space offering breathtaking 360° views of New York City and beyond. Whether it's an intimate gathering,  photo/video shoot, lecture or screening, etc... we've got you!  Lacuna isn't your typical warehouse space. Everything is next level, incorporating texture and attention to details that you won't find anywhere else. Quite simply, it's special.

Curated by Dre Shapiro, our founder, an accomplished artist and interior designer, Lacuna embraces wabi-sabi elegance.  Dre's commitment to natural materials and minimal style creates a beautiful and alluring atmosphere. More than a venue, Lacuna is a reflection of a lifetime dedicated to inspiring design and genuine hospitality.

HOUSE RULES & TERMS:
L A C U N A  is maintained to the highest possible Event & Location Rental standards as well as all City, County & State Health Mandates.  We ask that you follow the rules noted below and please contact us with any queries. 

Bathrooms:
Bathrooms to be respected as they are used by guests & staff.
Bathroom attendant is required for events with 50 or more attendees.
Notify Site Representative immediately if bathroom supplies are running low or require attention

Cleaning Duties Client, Planner and/or Caterer warrants to perform basic cleaning duties at end of event in Dining and Kitchen areas (if applicable; cleaning stove & oven, wiping & sanitizing benches, wipe out sinks, empty trash bins, sweep floors).  A professional clean will be performed by LACUNA’s Team post event, and is included on billing. Failure to empty the fryer will result in an additional $150 fee.

Event Space: ONLY APPROPRIATE Client, Host or Event staff to be in EVENT SPACES during rental period.  Clients are responsible for conduct of all hired/contracted event personnel.

Doors/Interiors:
Caterer/Planner may use the front door of the venue for LIGHT event supplies (flowers, signage, specialty decor) load in only; all other event needs must be delivered via rear of the building.
Caterer/Planner is not permitted use of the front door to LACUNA for any loading or unloading.
Front door MUST remain closed.  No propping doors open anywhere unless SECURITY staff is stationed at that door.
LACUNA features smooth stucco walls and concrete floors.  Both surfaces are pores, if damages, stains, or other defects occur, the Client will be billed for cost of repair/restoration.
No heavy machinery or equipment without LACUNA’S approval.

Food & Drink No red wine or dark drinks to be served on premises.  No sticky or energy drinks.  All warm food to be odor free where possible.  All outside food and drink vendors must be approved by LACUNA, including but not limited to all menus.

Hygiene all Vendors/Staff must follow all Los Angeles County Health Department Rules including holding valid ServSafe Certificates & adhere to any Covid-19 Safety Protocols or as directed by any LACUNA Representative.

Kitchen Cooking or use of HOT EQUIPMENT in LACUNA kitchen is prohibited unless specifically agreed to in Event or Rental Contract. Kitchen is for food & beverage display only. 

Load in/Strike:
No idling engines, noisy loading, talking loudly, radios, smoking, or any other sort of behavior or noise that might bother us or our neighbors while using the rear alley side for receiving deliveries of goods.
Load in/Strike hours permissible 7:00am - 12:00am, pending scope of event rental hours per contract. Exceptions may be made.
All large goods and other equipment to go through REAR DOORS ONLY.
Delivery paths must be kept clean and protected with mats, ramboards or other protective material prior and during deliveries and transport. Please detail the methods you will use to mitigate dirt & damage during load in/load out at the final pre-event meeting.

Parking/Deliveries:
No parking in the alley other than pre-arranged short term delivery or drop off.
Please observe all local street parking signage. NO stopping/loading/dropping off on Jefferson Blvd.
Event staff to park away from LACUNA Entrance.  CLIENT to make all arrangements for any Event parking.
Inform attendees using rideshare, or provide signage instructions, that drop-off is to be done on Rimpau.

Rental Inventory (OUTSIDE VENDOR) if Client, Planner and/or Caterer has contracted with an outside vendor to provide any furniture, equipment or guest needs, prior arrangements must be made for next day pick up (and Site Representative’s time will be included on final billing).  Otherwise all equipment is to be taken out by 12:00am event evening.

Waste Removal: Use of designated receptacle only.  Recycle & usual trash standards apply. All event trash to be removed by Client/Caterer unless otherwise specified in contract.  Client will be billed $200 for excess waste removal. Any overflowing trash will be assessed an additional penalty.

Venue manager is required.

LACUNA

Located in Downtown Los Angeles’ Fashion District, City Market Social House boasts 20,000 square feet of newly renovated, fully permitted, contemporary private event space, in a historic warehouse setting. Once LA’s oldest produce market, the stunning vaulted bow truss ceilings, concrete and exposed brick walls, and free-flowing indoor-outdoor open-air marketplace come to life to host the City’s hottest industry events, award shows, product launches, conferences, private celebrations and more.

City Market Social House

This location is a vignette of various architectural looks and abundance of natural light providing endless creative possibilities listed below: When a production arrives, the following are available to them: a bank of Moorish arched windows, 2 -12 foot custom walnut castle doors that open on to a limestone permitted shooting patio arcade, a three walled photo cove, a dressed European loft, a 19th century styled staircase, a modern kitchen, and two-story glass modern office suites along with 4 bathrooms, and 3 separated hair and makeup areas.

After 23 years, we closed to complete a massive renovation. Since 2016 we've been working with our team of artisans, craftsmen and designers to create a modern boutique location with a European flavor, showcasing many new shooting options. Rebuilt using original early-1900’s red Simons bricks, spaces feature an authentic reconstruction of the iconic arched windows that have always been the soul of the studio.

Glendale Daylight Loft

Katsuya Brentwood, named “Best New Restaurant” by Travel & Leisure in 2007, represents the prodigious pairing of the supreme talents of master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi and world-renowned designer Philippe Starck.
