Resident is an experiential dining concept based in NYC. We take over luxury apartments, members-only clubs, and opulent lofts, like our Chelsea Artist Loft, to host intimate dining events with chefs from the world’s best restaurants.

You have access to our 70+ Michelin-trained chefs (formerly of restaurants including Aska, Carbone, Gramercy Tavern, Per Se, and more), 40+ sommeliers, 20+ mixologists, 10+ luxury venues, and our world-class project management team. With the same effort as a large group reservation, you can create a one-of-a-kind, memorable event that your guests will talk about for months. 

Instead of a traditional PDR, the chef for the evening will design a menu just for your group. They’ll personally introduce each course, along with its inspiration, with a sommelier doing the same; and all of these tidbits serve as great natural icebreakers that get the room to engage. With a 100% private space and a world-class F+B team, we combine the elegance of Michelin dining with the excitement of a dinner party. 

Aptly located in the city’s art district, our Chelsea venue is situated in a beautiful pre-war industrial building and offers a cool, open ambiance. This restored artist loft used to serve as both an apartment and a gallery, which means it can easily be sectioned into two large spaces, making it ideal for private dinners, large receptions, or better yet, a combination of the two.  The size and grandeur of this stylish space make it the perfect fit for endless event opportunities ranging from networking and corporate entertaining to birthdays and anniversaries.
