The Altman Building proudly celebrates over 22 years of event services at our landmark historic venue. Established in 1896 as the carriage house for the B. Altman department store, The Altman Building is now a versatile private event space, boasting 14,000 sq ft over two floors. Original mahogany French doors connect directly to street level to allow for seamless load-in and unparalleled flexibility in event production. With custom hardwood floors, exposed vaulted brick ceilings, and expansive windows cascading natural light, The Altman Building is an extraordinary venue for all event types.
